Ron Morris

Ron Morris is one of the most highly respected ranch brokers in the West, with an extensive background in real estate that spans over 4 decades. Following his graduation from the University of Northern Colorado, he immediately set his sights on real estate. His experience ranges from establishing and running brokerages, marketing, acquisition, management and disposition of real estate properties.

Ron specializes in large acreage ranches in the western United States and has handled countless complex multi-million dollar transactions representing both Buyers and Sellers. In the last 20 years, Ron has sold over 4 million acres totaling more than $600 million in ranch, recreation and resort properties throughout the western U.S.

Born and raised in Colorado and the son of an avid outdoorsman, Ron spent a great deal of time learning to hunt and fish at an early age. Every summer through high school, Ron spent his time working on the family’s ranch near Durango, Colorado; the daily chores instilled in him a great work ethic.  Through those experiences, he learned the value of his hard work and he applies those skills to every aspect of his professional and personal life.

Ron has been active in numerous agricultural organizations from the National Western Stock Show to Colorado Cattlemen’s Land Trust to the Roundup Riders of the Rockies.  When he is not showing ranches, he spends much of his time on horseback in the backcountry.

With a background in farming and ranching, corporate experience and a passion for the Western lifestyle, Ron has a thorough understanding of his client’s needs. In addition, his experience in livestock operations, wildlife management, water, agriculture, resource management and conservation easements allows him to provide his clients with the highest degree in service.
