Ranch Location

The ranch is located about 3 air miles southeast of Hayden, Colorado.  It is easily accessed on graveled county roads. Hayden, with a population of about 2,000 residents, has a handful of restaurants, grocery store, hardware store, fuel stations and a K-12 school system.  The ranch is also is a 23 mile drive into Steamboat Springs, a resort known for authentic cowboy roots and friendly community.

Land

The ranch consists of 240 open, acres of flat to rolling terrain. Mostly native grass interspersed with alfalfa, the land is ideal for a hay ranch or a grazing operation.  It is fenced and cross fenced with ponds that provide good stock water throughout the spring and into early summer.  Pastures consist mainly of well-drained soils suitable for small grain production, livestock grazing, and wildlife habitat.

Recreational Amenities

With plenty of room for horseback riding, hiking, snowshoeing and other low-impact recreational pursuits, the ranch is a short drive from the wide variety of Colorado’s public lands.
