Flanked on the west side by the Elk River, Round Mountain Ranch is also bordered by the Routt National Forest. The ranch encompasses 1,138 deeded acres plus USFS grazing permit. Significant senior water rights are used to flood irrigated the expansive meadows. With high-quality improvements, the ranch is one of the most recognizable properties in the Elk River valley. It is a short drive on paved county roads to Steamboat Springs and its legendary ski slopes.
